The software, hardware, and service platform enables the owners and managers of multifamily properties to offer smart homes as an amenity to their residents while simultaneously improving the efficiency of their operations. The software is live in over a dozen markets and counting. They're a small team making a lot happen, they are the leaders in this space taking on some big names, and are on track for a billion dollar outcome.

Your Mission
As the VP of Field Services, you will be responsible for growing and scaling our field service operations across the country. You will drive the strategy for perpetually recruiting 'A-player' field service team members. You will drive the strategy for scaling field service tools, systems, and processes to sustain a geographically disparate and complex field operation. You will be responsible for consistently improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our field services. As your team grows you'll also be responsible for cultivating strong leadership skills in your team's managers. This is a role for someone who has actively managed the rapid growth of an early stage field team that provided in-home, technology-related services, and is looking to step into an opportunity that could define their career. 

Outcomes and Responsibilities. 

  • Create the recruiting strategy needed to grow the field service team by a minimum of 2x in 2019
  • Drive the evolution of the tools and technologies used by the field team to increase efficiency as we scale
  • Mature field service personnel policies related to travel, relocation, time tracking, etc...
  • Cultivate and/or hire field leaders that can effectively manage local and regional field teams
  • Evolve and execute the strategy for serving 25+ markets by the end of 2019

We Are Looking for...

  • Someone with experience growing an early stage, multi-market, in-home field team
  • A person who has designed or significantly re-worked field service processes and/or tools in a prior position
  • A leader who can manage and inspire a rapidly growing team of diverse personalities
  • An individual who is comfortable with a spreadsheet and crafts their strategies using data
  • Someone who can effectively collaborate and communicate with the executive team
